This was my first long trek. Instead of going the usual route through Dhunche, we decided to go all the way to the Syabrubesi and come down to Gosaikunda from there (Spoiler Alert: It was not as down as we had anticipated).

On the first day, we walked along the corridor of the Langtang range to reach Thulo Syabru and camped there.

On the second day we headed up to Gosaikunda through laurebina. It took us the entire day and reached pretty late, must be around 7pm.

On the next day, the plan was to go through multiple kundas (ponds), get down to Helambu and catch a bus to Kathmandu. But, we got caught in a snowstorm and due to landslide the path to Helambu was destroyed and unnavigable. So, we took a detour to another village to catch a bus. The return journey was eventful, we got lost, had to find shelter in a homestay at 11 in the night and barely made it to catch the bus on the next day.
